Using a variety of different adjectives will make both written and spoken English much more interesting. Adjectives are a verbal way to ‘paint a picture’ in the mind of the listener.

I have found this a good way of teaching the vocabulary of movement. By making little men from pipe-cleaners is a multisensory process so making learning easier and memorising more effective.
